I have a craft room that largely goes unused these days. I have several scrapbooking software programs that also go ignored…why? Because I get so caught up in doing family history research (mostly for other people these days), that I have little time left to pursue my creative interests.
Things are about to change!
No more delegating the things I really want to do, the things I want to learn or to make – to the someday file or stuck on a Pinterest board!
Recently, while on Twitter a group of us decided to take an online Family History Digital Scrapbook class offered by Jessica Sprague together. It was decided that we would then post on Sundays our assignment.
This is our first assignment. Design our title page for our Family History Scrapbook.
Here’s my attempt…be kind, I am new to digital scrapbooking!
I am still learning, but the nice thing about digital is you can go back and change it. But it’s a start and for that I give myself a pat on the back which is really hard… unless you are double jointed!
What things have you been planning to do for awhile now, but have been putting off for a rainy day? How many times have you said you were going to start writing your family history, create a family cookbook or scrapbook your ancestors? Time to put it on the front burner folks – if only for one day a week, a month. Just get started!
Join our group and check out their posts:

Special thanks and kudos to Jen from The Scrappy Genealogist for getting this group together and kicking me off my hinny and getting me going.
Your turn…get movin’.
